The critical role ...

ILENIO supported in three ways:

1Design the training. First we set up a preliminary training line to show the staff and managers that it is possible to train a lot faster than "several months". At one point we created a brand new line with brand new staff - from the street - and we reached 100% speed after only 5 trainingdays. This was more efficient then any other part of the factory and this was definetly a gamechanger. After that we designed the training program minute by minute, for 100+ new workers who had to be trained much much faster than ever done before. After that even the old staff working for several years wanted to participate the new training and the company started to get a positive reputation in the community ...

2Manage two of the focus teams. Each team 80-100 persons. Two experienced resources managed the two teams to make sure all planning and all needed activities was carried out. To manage the task we had two wery experienced consultants to step in.

3Be on the factory floor and motivate and enthusiasm the key resources. This does generally not succed with every person but succeeding with a few will create some well needed space the situation. In this case we did convince a team of keypersons to join wich were a very critical part of the success.

We managed to add the right resources for this mission and that is always important. This type of situation demand lots of experience and skill. All employees of ILENIO often mix with workers aswell as managers and to understand both sides is one of our most important sucess factors.
